 PWMP sings TODAY and TUESDAY! (May 3 and May 5 We're so happy to tell you that the Philadelphia Women's Music Project will sing "The Secret Wisdom of Flowers" during the Garden Festival on Sunday and also at Normandy Farms retirement community. When: Sunday, May 3rd during the Garden Festival     INSIDE the church at 12:30pm and again at 1:30pm.   Where:  Christ Ascension Lutheran Church, 8300 Germantown Ave. (at Southampton.)   FREE admission When: Tuesday, May 5 at 7:30pm Where: Normandy Farms ACTS retirement community auditorium 9000 Twin Silo Dr, Blue Bell, PA 19422 FREE admission. Note: This is a gated community.  Check in at the gate and say you're with the chorus.

 CONCERT in 20 DAYS - PRACTICE OPPORTUNITIES Hi Singers!  I understand that the schedule on our website may not be correct.  I'll look at it tomorrow morning. THIS EMAIL is a copy of what I sent before.   Our concert is 20 days away. We have two more regular Monday (Apr 27 and May 4) rehearsals from 7pm to 10pm and then Production Week: Mon 5/11, Tue 5/12, Fri 5/15 from 7pm to 10pm. Aaack!  We need more practice!  And, please check in with your section leaders:  John (Basses), Dave (Tenors), Chris and Sharon (Altos), Diane and Jill (Sopranos) for NOTES! PWMP performs THIS Sunday at CH Garden Festival (May 3) Dear Friends (and please share the news!)  You are warmly invited to experience a beautiful and inspiring performance of  The Secret Wisdom of Flowers  by laura hawley, presented by the Philadelphia Women’s Music Project (PWMP). , Join us on May 3, 2026, with performances at 12:30 PM and 1:30 PM at Christ Ascension Lutheran Church (8300 Germantown Avenue) in Chestnut Hill, as part of the lively Chestnut Hill Home + Garden Festival. PWMP is a vibrant community chorus of women dedicated to classical music, with a special focus on celebrating works by women composers and poets.  PLEASE SOLICIT TRIBUTES - ONLY TEN DAYS LEFT Dear Singers: This note is a little long, but please read all the way through. thanks. g) There are just  10 days left  to sponsor a song on a program and  honor a woman or women in your life!   (the program booklet has to be delivered to the printer!) I hope by now that you have all asked your friends and family to sponsor a song in tribute or memory of a woman in your life.  Some of the benefits to the donor and Philo are obvious:     Honoring your loved one, tax write-off, financially helping a community music program to stay afloat, etc.  Maybe less obvious is the important benefit of  ENGAGEMENT.  This is an opportunity for an audience member, the friends, family, and the honoree to have a bigger part in the whole concert.   It's a tangible way to feel engaged with the music-making and connected to our community.   We need that so much right now and connection an...
