NOTES FOR IMMIGRANT SOLIDARITY event performance


Dear Singers, 

To be ready for Monday night rehearsal, please review and retain these directions, cues, and cuts 
for the April 19 performance at the UU of Germantown on Lincoln Drive. 
We will practice this on Monday, but I don't want to have to explain it more than one time.

Washington Women
Song I as written to the end, pause for applause

Song X (pg 77) through measure 27,
    then cut to page 82 and the beginning of
Song XI,
   
Song XII
 skip measures 18 thru 22 (the cello solo) and then straight thru to the end 

We'll sing Reach Down Lord, Alex the first phrase, then all of us with multiple repeats as we move out of the space.

Remember, this is the UU of Germantown building on Lincoln Drive.
Call time is 2:15. We'll warm up, and practice entering and exiting.  We sing at 3:00.  Out the door by 3:15.
Wear All black casual, black folders. 

And yes, we will work on more music than just this!  I expect all of you at rehearsal.

Latest list of scheduled sectionals AND one-off extra practice times for January 2026   Hi, Singers. Thanks for all the work you're putting in. I've been getting questions about my expectations regarding Scheduled Sectionals and extra requested practices. The one-off extra practice times that people are requesting are open to all members of the section if that is ok with the requester.  I send this information as the slots are requested.  These go for 60 minutes.
